Black Friday sale alert: Sandals and Beaches Resorts launch biggest sale of the year

Posted on November 26, 2024 By malu

Since Beaches Resorts and Sandals Resorts have released their Black Friday sales early, I’m sharing them with you ASAP. There’s a lot to love about the offer: The discounts and perks are big (details below) and the window for travel stretches through the end of 2025. But you’ll need to book between now and the end of Friday to reap the savings from this big sale.

Beaches’ Black Friday Sale

Beaches Resorts’ Black Friday offer is available at all three of its family-oriented all-inclusive resorts: Beaches Ocho Rios, Beaches Negril in Jamaica plus Beaches Turks and Caicos. The breakdown of the offers is:

  • Up to 65% off regular rates at all three resorts for stays of three nights or longer.
  • One free night at Beaches Negril when you book six or more nights or at Beaches Ocho Rios when you book seven or more nights.
  • An additional discount depending on the number of nights. So it’s $400 stays of seven nights or more, $335 off six nights, or $135 off three nights.
  • You can also get a credit of $600 for airfare by booking flights through the resort.

The validity window varies a bit by offer, but all are for travel through sometime in December 2025. The additional discount and air credit deal has some blackout dates for holiday periods.

Sandals’ Black Friday Sale

Sandals Resorts’ Black Friday sale is similar to the suite of deals offered by Beaches but with a little more savings:

  • Up to 65% off regular rates at all three resorts for stays of three nights or longer.
  • Additional savings depending on resort and number of nights. So at most participating Sandals resorts, you’d get $225 off three nights and somewhere between $605 and $1,000 off seven-night stays.
  • One free night at at participating Sandals resorts when you book a stay of seven nights or longer. So essentially, six paid nights gets you seven nights.
  • You can also get a credit of $500 for airfare by booking flights through the resort when you stay seven nights or longer.

Bonus: Last minute holiday sale for travel this December

If you’ve been meaning to make travel plans for the holiday season this year but haven’t gotten around to it, you’re a genius because both Sandals and Beaches are offering a free night on four and five night stays during Christmas week. Book by December 3 to get this deal.

Which resort: Beaches or Sandals?

Beaches has exceptional offerings for families, but is also great for couples and adult groups (I went on a long weekend with my two sisters and had a fantastic time). There are currently three Beaches resorts, two of which are in Jamaica: Beaches Ocho Rios, Beaches Negril in Jamaica plus Beaches Turks and Caicos.

Sandals, which is adults-only and geared toward blissfully relaxing beach vacations for couples, delivers an upscale all-inclusive experience at its 17 resorts in some of the Caribbean’s most beautiful beach destinations.

RIGHT FIT FOR YOU: How to choose the best Beaches Resorts

Here’s what’s true about both Beaches and Sandals: More than most, they’re all-inclusive resorts that feel ultra-generous, and include, among other things, water and land sports, specialty restaurants, and premium spirits. I’m particularly impressed with the included Scuba offerings.

Who is this sale best for?

If you’re a Beaches or Sandals return visitor, you know that these are good deals and that these resorts offer a lot of value for money. And if you’ve always wanted to try out the brand (or you’re an all-inclusive first timer), this is a smart place to start: not paying full price and having a full year to travel. Note that the biggest savings come from stays of seven nights, but that you can still save on shorter stays of even three nights.

Becoming a scuba diving family in Fiji

Posted on October 30, 2024

I’m a late-in-life scuba diving enthusiast: I spent my 20s, 30s and 40s traveling the world and loving any and all water activities—including kayaking, SUP, snorkeling, and tubing—but there was something about scuba diving that always seemed out of reach. And as someone with frequent ear infections, I just figured…
