Disney Cruise Line delivers with summer 2027 itineraries, including the Disney Wish’s European debut

Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is always a great idea, but as is the case with most cruise lines, you have to exercise patience when booking travel. That’s because itineraries are released early — way early — and if you want first pick of staterooms, you need to book your cruise around 18 months in advance! Case in point: Disney Cruise Line just released its summer 2027 itineraries, and with bookings opening as early as next week for Pearl Castaway Club members, it’s already time to start planning way ahead of time.

But don’t worry; these itineraries are worth melting for…I mean, worth waiting for. Sorry, I’m already dancing in my seat with excitement over Disney Cruise Line’s plans for summer 2027, because it includes the Disney Wish’s debut in Europe which includes an oh-so-apt itinerary in Norway.

Disney Cruise Line summer 2027 itineraries

The latest block of itineraries represent May through September 2027 sailings. Let’s start with a general overview of the major highlights cruisers can expect in summer 2027. Itineraries include:

• Disney Wish making her European debut (more on this in a sec)
• The return of Marvel Day at Sea and Pixar Day at Sea
• Disney Magic and Disney Wonder returning to Alaska

Disney Wish debuts in Europe

The major headline from this latest wave of itineraries is that the Disney Wish will make her debut in Europe. Disney Cruise Line is no stranger to European cruises, but this will be a first for the Disney Wish.

While in Europe, the Disney Wish will offer three- to ten-night sailings that visit new ports including Zadar in Croatia, Trieste near Venice in Italy, and Hellesylt in Norway. There will also be a repositioning cruise if you want to take a little Transatlantic voyage.

Personally, I think the Disney Wish was made for European sailings, especially Northern Europe. With a ship designed after the Disney Princesses, a European voyage feels like a no-brainer! Summer 2027 itineraries include 7-night Norwegian Fjords Cruises, which brings the Wish to ports like Bergen, Norway; Hellesylt, Norway; Alesund, Norway; Stavanger, Norway; and Kristiansand, Norway.

Just imagine sailing through Norwegian Fjords or exploring a seaside town during the day followed by dinner at Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure at night! It’s a match made in cruising heaven!

Norway isn’t the only European region you can explore on the Disney Wish. Other itineraries coming in summer 2027 include Spain, the Mediterranean, the British Isles, and other Northern Europe destinations like Denmark and Netherlands.

Other 2027 Disney Cruise Line highlights

The always-popular Alaska sailings return in summer 2027 as well, with the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic making their return to the Pacific Northwest. Both ships will sail out of Vancouver and include Northern Alaska itineraries, providing cruisers even more options when planning this epic vacation.

Marvel Day at Sea and Pixar Day at Sea will both return in 2027 giving fans the chance to dive deep into their favorite stories and celebrate with some of their favorite characters. Marvel Day at Sea will sail from Galveston aboard the Disney Magic starting in January 2027 before she makes her way to Vancouver. Pixar Day at Sea will continue aboard the Disney Fantasy on select five‑night sailings from Port Canaveral.

Also on deck for summer 2027:

• The Disney Destiny will sail out of Port Everglades, FL, with 4-, 5-, and 7-night sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean
• The Disney Treasure will sail out of Port Canaveral, FL, with its standard 7-night sailings to Eastern and Western Caribbean
• The Disney Dream will sail out of Port Canaveral, FL, with 3- and 4-night sailings to the Bahamas
• The Disney Fantasy will sail out of Port Canaveral, FL, with 4- and 5- night Bahamian and Western Caribbean sailings. There is also a 10-night Southern Caribbean sailing in July 2027 with my name on it.
• The Disney Adventure will continue to sail out of Singapore with 3- and 4- night all-at-sea itineraries through August 2027

When can you book Disney Cruise Line’s summer 2027 sailings?

As is the case with most of Disney Cruise Line’s itinerary announcements, booking windows are right around the corner. Here’s how it shakes out based on your Castaway Club tier:

• Monday, February 16: Pearl Castaway Club Members
• Tuesday, February 17: Platinum Castaway Club Members, Club 33 Members, and Golden Oak Club Members
• Wednesday, February 18: Gold Castaway Club members
• Thursday, February 19: Silver Castaway Club members, Disney Vacation Club Members and Adventures by Disney Insiders
• Monday, February 23: general public and first-time sailers
